The trail then undulates through the alpine desert, leading us to Karanga Camp. After photos and celebrations, we begin our descent to Mweka Camp, passing through Barafu Camp for a short rest. The descent is long but rewarding, and you’ll appreciate the lower altitude and warmer temperatures at Mweka Camp. Enjoy a well-deserved dinner and a good night’s sleep.
